-OUR STORY
How one psychologist’s belief grew into a movement to make
emotional well-being a part of everyday life.
-WHERE IT BEGAN
Every meaningful change begins with a simple belief. Ours was this: emotions are not problems to be hidden, but abilities to be understood, expressed, and strengthened.
Emotional Ability Resources — EaR — was born from that belief. Founded and led by Dr. Pragati Sureka, a psychologist who has worked in the field of mental health since 2005, EaR grew out of nearly two decades of practice across clinics, classrooms, boardrooms and living rooms. Over those years, one pattern became clear: people everywhere — children, parents, caregivers, professionals and leaders — were carrying emotional weight they had never been taught how to name, let alone manage.
What started as one psychologist’s clinical work has become a team of professionals in the well-being space, united by a single mission — to bring the conversations and tools of mental health and Emotional Well Being into every household. Along the way, EaR pioneered the very concept of Emotional Well Being (EWB) as a practical, learnable framework, not an abstract ideal.
Today, EaR brings that mission to life through therapy, online training and selfpaced courses, book-based programs, interactive workshops, leadership and softskills sessions, speaker engagements, and ongoing mental-health advocacy. Different formats, one purpose: making emotional well-being a part of everyday life
For over fifteen years our work has reached across economic backgrounds, genders and geographies — because emotional ability belongs to everyone.
Emotional wellness should live at home, in schools and in the workplace — not only inside a therapy room.
The most powerful thing we offer isn't one session or one book — it's the skill to understand and manage emotions for life.
